Apricot Raisin Loaf So Tasty

Apricot Raisin Loaf

Ingredients :

  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 3/four cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 2 cups all-motive flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup dried apricots, chopped
  • 1 cup raisins
  • half cup pecans, coarsely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • 3 tablespoons apricot jam
  • 1 tablespoon water

Instructions :

  • Whisk collectively flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir in apricots, raisins, nuts, and rind.
  • In a big bowl, beat collectively butter or margarine, sugar, and 1 egg until clean. Beat in 2d egg. Blend in orange juice. Pour in flour mixture suddenly, and stir simply to moisten. Scrape into greased 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan.
